Summer is passing much more quickly then I want it to... It seriously needs to SLOW down! We have been having so much fun, and I keep neglecting this little corner of mine... Time is just slipping away.
I had a week with a few of the girls I used to babysit (well a couple of days with 2 and a few week with one) and it was awesomeness! They are so HELPFUL and keep my minis totally OCCUPIED! LOVE it!! I wish they would just move on in!
The day after my first adopt a child left, we decided to hit the beach. Jason had a couple unexpected days off, so combined with the fourth, we figured why not... It was a FANTASTIC time! Sun, sand, surf... what's not to love right? My parents live in Surfside, a small beach town between Myrtle and Pawleys Island. Its the best because we just hop on their golf cart and in 2.5 seconds we are beach side...

We spent the fourth at the beach and it was AMAZING! My mom's community had a golf cart parade and the people went ALL out! They decorated their golf carts to the hilt and candy was thrown. My kids LOVED it!
Sitting on the beach, fireworks exploding in every possible place in
the sky, the booms, the lights, the ocean... That was our fireworks experience. It was unlike anything I
have I ever seen... The fireworks were EVERYWHERE... We seriously didn't
know where to look!

Jason and I had a date night (gotta love free babysitting), we had dinner / lunch with fam, I shopped, Jason rode his bike, and of course the kids swam... We did the indoor and outdoor pools because one day we were actually a bit sick of the sun :)

Jason's birthday was the day we were headed home, so after our date night, I had mom get a cake ready and set up the gifts. The kids were crazy excited and SOMEHOW they did not spill the beans even after shopping for his gifts in the morning! I think I may have a few secret keepers... Is that a good thing or not? lol Jason was surprised for sure and loved his gifts! I still CANNOT believe he is the ripe old age of 36. I still see him as my little 15 year old punk :)
We had a great week and the best part is we will be back in about 2 weeks yippee!
