My first baby is now a Kindergartner! Long gone are the bottles and diapers. The toddler years were so yesterday and the years of preschool flew by in a blink! I still can hardly believe it...

First year of Preschool
Friday was his graduation, and while I am SO over playing nice in his teacher's sand box, it is bittersweet for the year to be over. I am jumping for joy over the lazy days of summer that lie ahead, but I am also longing for just one more year of preschool but it is not to be, so I must just embrace this new chapter...
OMG I have a KINDERGARTNER!!!
Friday my baby boy lined up with his class and sang and danced his little heart out! He was funny, precious, and oh so adorable! I was beaming with pride. That was MY boy up there!!! He did awesome and I have the 16 minute video to prove it!

Taken unbeknownst to me... What a proud cheesey moma I am! Yes the camera AND Flip going at once!

singing, dancin, and having FUN!
Once their songs were complete, each child was called to the front and handed his diploma, a CD full of pictures, a book, and a few goodies. My girlie's daughter was called before Anthony and as we both snapped pictures with the frenzy of the paparazzi the tears began to fall. I glanced over and sure enough she was crying too! Of course; seeing each others tears made our own fall even faster...
Anthony was up and between camera clicks, tears falling, and the occasional sniffle I could not stop smiling. I was SO STINKING PROUD of him! My little baby strutted up to the podium with the confidence and independence of a soon to be kindergartner. A big boy!

I love his smile, his sparkle, and his enthusiasm!
I am embracing this new stage as best as I can. I may not like it, but its here. So, I am going to enjoy every second he is home this summer and pray that time slows down because next year he will be gone more then he's not...
