The weekend started of with a bang and the greatness continued!
Friday after school, the minis and I popped into a local children's museum and the kids played and PLAYED! Anthony LOVED hauling apples, moving crates, and cranking and pulling pulley systems. He was my busy "worker". Madison was a doctor and fixed up all her patients. She examined X-rays, made phone calls, and drove an ambulance. The kids climbed rock walls, built roller coasters, and built all kinds of neat things. I totally enjoyed listening to their imaginations run wild!
We followed it up with a trip to the park and Madison learned to "pump" on the swings ALL. BY. HERSELF! I don't know who was more proud; me or her! The kids ran and climbed, slid and bounced all over the place and we eventually made it over to a duck pond where the kids spied fish, geese, ducks, and cray fish. It was just a wonderful day and made me long for the lazy fun days of summer...
I was planning on taking advantage of the beautiful day Saturday with a trip to the zoo, but my hubby surprised me and took the day off! SCORE :) We decided to hit the road and play away the day at Hershey Park! It was AWESOME and the kids were so EXCITED! Anthony rode his first "big" roller coaster while Madison and I conquered the kiddie rides. We joined back up and rode some more. Zoo America was a huge hit as usual. They have the neatest nocturnal building. It's so neat to see the animals in action. We all had a blast and we all were exhausted...
Today we lazed around, did some shopping, and played outside. It was a perfect Sunday... If only every weekend was so wonderful!
