Flash back to vacay: My nephew ended up with Hand, Foot, and Mouth disease so she was totally exposed, but I had thought we were in the clear... yeah another FAIL on my part!
I picked up my beautiful mini and dug through my drawers of crap looking for a flashlight and then of course some working batteries. She was all calm by the time I was able to take a peek inside that teeny tiny mouth... Sure enough it was covered with many sores
:( Hand, Foot, and Mouth... HOORAY... not!
In the morning I stole a peek at Anthony's mouth and sure enough he had a few sores as well... So we have been riding the Hand, Foot, and Mouth train for a few days now :( I am REALLY over being trapped inside, we are all missing our friends, and I have pulled out every possible craft, game, and trick up my sleeve. I am outta ideas! (I must say though, my house is CLEAN!)
Honestly, I can't complain because they have not felt bad AT ALL! If it weren't for their mouth sores I would have no clue that they were
Thankfully, Ant's mouth is all cleared up as far as I can tell, and Mad's are ALMOST gone! I should be able to remerge back into society in a few short days! Watch out world we will be back on the loose with TONS of energy to expend!

Hope they are better VERY soon! =)
ps- WHY are the flashlights and batteries NEVER together when you need them???!?
My son went through that and it is just the biggest inconvenience ever. Did you make some magic mouthwash (Benadryl + Maalox) - check with your pediatrician for more details but that might be something to keep in your back pocket if they have another round since it's a viral thing and likely to come and go.
Oh boy...I'm so sorry you and the minis had to go through this...but I'm glad they weren't in too much pain and that (hopefully) they are all cleared up by now!
