A friend and I strapped on a bike seat and trailer and pedaled our way along one of our local bike trails. It was a BEAUTIFUL day riding in the shade along the river... After a bit we stooped so the minis could have a snack and play for a bit.
Anthony was exploring the woods and found something he was really interested in! "Hey mommy, LOOK!" It's BARF!" As I look, I explain that its barK... He totally didn't get it and continued hunting for more barf and for the beaver, because beavers like barf you know! :)
As we turned around to head back to our cars, I swapped bikes with my friend and pulled the trailer because, she went about 5 miles pulling 2 kids so it would ONLY be fair if I rode the 5 miles back! O.M.G! BIG mistake!!! Riding with a kid in a bike seat is WAY easier than pulling that damn trailer! I thought my legs were going to fall off! I was dripping sweat, completely out of breath, all this and I hadn't even made it 1 mile! Let's just say those last 5 were BRUTAL and I got a major workout!
The kids had a great time and totally enjoyed their relaxing bike ride... Madison was so relaxed, when I glanced over at her on the bike seat her head was ROLLING and she was TOTALLY passed out.... Good times :)
