I was just sitting down to check my email when I heard this thunk
thunkity thunk sound.... As I glanced out the office window I see MY mailbox being run down by this old man! He nailed it! He was NOT paying attention (his words) and was speeding through the neighborhood (my words)!The mailbox was ripped out of the ground, the stud was snapped in half, and all that was left was some wood chunks and the 50 pounds of concrete that used to hold it in! Thank god my kids were not out because the play in the gravel by the mailbox ALL the time!!!!
Jason had to call in a handy man because he couldn't dig out the concrete.... What a mess! The only positive thing is that I HATED I mean HATED that mailbox. Jason and I argued for at least an hour in Lowes when we bought the thing and he won! Well, now we have purchased a new and improved mailbox that I like!
