Have you ever had those moments when your heart was just bursting with pride? I LOVE those moments!
Last night, Anthony overcame a HUGE fear! He went swimming in a REAL pool! He has always been afraid of the pool and would just run around the edge playing on the outside. Last night, we all went to the indoor pool so the kids could splash and play (and wear themselves OUT! ;) My big boy was cautious as he went in, but after a few minutes he was floating around solo, jumping in, and squealing with delight! I was / am soooooooo proud of him!

That is so awesome!! Noah went through a summer of fear of the water at age 3 and then the following summer at 4 he was going under and trying to swim on his own. I know how I felt and it is SO wonderful for them to love it!! Great job Anthony. You will be a little water bug at the pool this summer!
You must be so proud! Riley has always had a fear of water even though I took him to "mommy and me" swim classes for the first 2 years of his life. Last year he finally got to the point where he would jump in and let himself go under (nose plugged of course)...so this year at the age of 8 I sure hope he will learn to swim underwater. He can swim above without too much trouble.
Great job, Anthony! I think it's great when kids learn how to swim...fantastic skill to have :)
