I would have to say my theme song would be Shania Twain's "Your Still the One"...

When I was 17, I dropped out of high school, married Jason, and moved across country to Colorado. Everyone, and I mean EVERYONE, thought I would be home in 6 months pregnant filing for divorce... Here it is nearly 14 years later and we're still together. I won't say its been easy, but its been fun. We waited 11 years until we had our first child, so we had time to grow up and live life together.
This song expresses how we beat the odds, and we showed them! Ha "Looks like we made it"!
This song also can be applied to myself individually, because against all odds, I not only finished college, but I completed graduate school as well! I like to skew all those statistics :)

That's a great song and the one I'm going to have play at our wedding whenever that happens. We've been together for almost 11 years since I was 19 and we've had ALOT uf struggles along the way and things have never been 'perfect' but is anyone's life really. We've always stuck with eachother and with the kids and I think that's all that really matters!
So, I guess you showed them too! Just because you don't do things the traditional way, doesn't mean much, because those are usually the people that do make it.

Great song and it does apply. It is one everytime I hear I think of Shane and I too because we have been together since I was 16 and no one thought we would. :) We grow together which is a beautiful thing!
