Does you child have a lovey? Both of mine do and no way no how will we ever leave home without them!Anthony has his beloved "raggie" He acquired his raggie when he was just a wee little guy and I was feeding him his bottles... His raggies are burp rags... As he ate, he would grab the cloth and not let go. He rubs the rag through his fingers as he falls asleep, he holds it to his chest when he is upset or tired, and he even sucks and chews it... Each night when we tuck him in, he requests at least 4 raggies.... As we go through the stack he tries them out one by one. He is not particular and the "type" he likes changes from day to day...
With each one he will say:

Too merry. (we cannot figure out what too merry means....)
Too big.
Too wittle.
Too long.
Until he finds the ones that slide just right through his fingers.... His eyes light up and he holds them tight...
note: please ignore the use of a pacifier or as we call it plug. Yes. I know he should not have it. Yes. I know I will be paying for orthodontic work. Yes. I know he is too big. We are working on it. He only has it for bed or LONG cars rides... My sanity needs this right now.... okay? thanks!

Sweet picture! No lovie here.
Mimi carries a lambie and Tommy a puppy--both were made by "Angel Dear". They are so soft!
Katie Grace has her bear blanket (I got it at my baby shower from my aunt Louise). We never leave home without it either. My aunt made her a new one but different print she wants nothing to do with it. You will see it tomorrow. Can't wait by the way.
M sleeps with a variety of teddy bears
C must have his cars blanket AT ALL TIMES
L just needs her thumb
Your kids are the cutest! I don't think my nephews have anything like loveys. And as for the pacifiers, whatevs, I don't think they will be teenagers and still carrying them around. This is coming from a non-parent, ha!
Madison never had a lovie. Jenna (step daughter) had/has a quilt like blanket that is so soft. I even like to feel it. She doesnt take anywhere with her but she has to have it at bedtime.
Riley has his stuffed dog that he calls "Sam" (though when he was a toddler the dog's name was just "puppy" lol. I didn't encourage it and actually tried to steer him towards some nicer looking stuffies, but he would have no part of it.
I still have my lovie from when I was a wee little girl. A stuffed bunny that I called "Mr. Blue" because he was blue of course lol. He's looking pretty ratty 28 years later...but it's nice to have him to show Riley.
