As I shut Madison's bedroom door at nap today, I heard a squeaky little voice saying, "It sure is a bootiful day. It sure is hot in here huh?!" I peek over the staircase and spy my son. I glance on my dresser and see the camera, YAHTZEE! I snap a few pics...
There they are, my dog and my son. Laying in front of the door basking in the sunlight... Soaking it up totally relaxed and at peace.... I came down stairs and laid beside them... We laughed and giggled and chatted quietly. The moment was bliss and the most relaxed I have felt ALL week. As the neighbors drove by, I'm sure they thought we were crazy lying on the floor in front of the storm door... We were just taking in the moment, soaking in the rays, and just well; being...

Im jealous! Its so hard for me to relax and just 'be'. You are a great mommy!
It is hard to slow down and just take in all the little moments... I need to do it more, because those little things are so BIG!
