The Pre-School Challenge

I don't know if anyone is like me, but I have been OBSESSING over preschools since, well since, Anthony was about a year old. I know call me C.R.A.Z.Y! Last year, I toured numerous schools looking for the right place. I know that something Montessori is VERY important to me.... (long story, but I heart Montessori!) Anthony was going to start last year, but as his birthday is just after the cut off date for public school, we decided to post pone school for one more year...

For some reason, my heart was just not 100% positive that the school we initially picked was right for our son, so the search began again. I am please (and immensely RELIEVED) that we have finally decided on a school. We think it will be a PERFECT fit for our son and our family. I am so very excited....

On another school note, we have just enrolled Anthony in an early 3's introduction to preschool class. It is basically for the kids who missed the state cut off dates, and gives them a chance to get used to school, rules, with some introductory learning. Yesterday was his first day and he did GREAT! HE made a bunch of projects and was so proud to go to school! My handsome little guy is growing up :)

Look at that smile!

Way to go, Anthony!!!! That is so great. Leo and I thought we had the right pick in WV and then it ended up being a disaster!
I love the thought of the early 3 program!!! Was it hard for YOU on the first day??? I sat in a coffee shop and counted the minutes until Goosie's first day was finished :)

I am wondering where you are taking him because the letter D looks very familiar. Is it where Jen took Caleb?? Just curious! lol. Anthony looks so grown up and handsome!! What a big boy!

I was okay when I dropped him off! I got a little teary eyed when I got to the car, but they were proud tears... I just know that he is VERY ready for and needs school... He LOVES any form of socialization...
Yes, Lisha you should recognize the D :)

I'm so proud of Anthony! I know he will enjoy the socialization that the early three's program will offer. He is growing up way too fast!
