Some people know others will be surprised...
BUT...
I confess, I have the mouth of a sailor... Its embarrassing, but so true. I have been trying to stop swearing and I think I am good MOST *blush* of the time. I was ALWAYS so lucky. My kids never dropped the F bomb, and never said any swear word! Until, about 6 months ago. (hence the trying to stop having a potty mouth)
My beautiful angelic (note the sarcasm with that description) son blurted out "GOD DAMN IT" When Murray stole his cookie! I about died. There was no misunderstanding of the words. It was C.L.E.A.R. A.S. D.A.Y! I ignored it, but the darn phrase kept popping up. I finally started correcting him and I had not heard the phrase in quite some time...
Until, last week that is. Anthony accidentally locked himself in the bathroom in our hotel room. We could not open the door and we were trying to explain to him how to unlock the door. He wasn't up set and kept trying. After a few minutes of attempts... Jason and I heard his pip squeaky voice mutter "God Damn it!!!" Our eyes were as big as saucers and we were stifling our giggles... and then the door opened.
So much for thinking he forgot those bad words :0

Z tripped me on the stairs last week. I caught my balance before crashing down on top of her but stil bellowed a "God-"and before I had a chance to finish she went, "DAMMICK!"
Ooops...
Man does this ever bring back memories...Riley was about 3 years old and I went to pick him up from daycare where the teacher pulled me aside and told me he'd been saying the "F" word...at first he thought he was hearing things (the teacher) but it went on for a few days...so I (stupidly) turn to riley and ask him where he heard that word..."from you mommy" were his exact words...boy was that a wake up call!!! Thankfully his potty mouth left the building when mind did...

You curse in front of your children???? I'm so disappointed.....JUST KIDDING!!! :) I've gotten a lot better with my "words" the past few months!! No slip ups from the kids....yet!!
Ugh. Going through that stage right now. His favorite bad words are *ahem* male and female bits. I guess I shouldnt watch Nip/Tuck unless I am really sure he is asleep.
