Our fantastic neighbor gave our family a gingerbread train kit. The kids were so excited! Anthony begged and pleaded for the "train cookies". Finally, last week we had a chance to complete it. The kids did great. I did the frosting and Jason assisted the kids in the candy placing. We cheated a little and only gave them one bowl of candy at a time. (Otherwise it would have been complete chaos!!) Anthony did great. He meticulously placed each candy. Madison meticulously placed each candy in her mouth! :) We all enjoyed it and I plan on making one each year!

We want to do this with Cameron and then it hit us that he would want to nibble and since he is allergic to all of it, we can't do it. )=
It looks like the kids had a blast though. I like your idea about presenting the candy one at a time.
